The Milestone MP-HD-IP400 is an H.264 HDMI-over-IP encoder/decoder built for extending, distributing and matrix-switching Full HD video across a standard 100Mbps (or higher) managed network switch.
PoE powering, HDMI loop-out and RS-232/IR control pass-through are built in, along with support for RTSP, RTP, HTTP FLV, UDP and TCP streaming in both unicast and multicast modes — making it equally suited to simple point-to-point extension or larger networked video distribution deployments with live preview and recording.
